What does open and enclosed carrier mean?
An open carrier is the most common type of auto transport used on the roads. Open carriers range from a 1-car carrier to a two level 10-car carrier. Using an open carrier means that your vehicle is visible and generally not protected from the weather, rock chips, etc. An enclosed carrier has a full top and sides which keep vehicles out of the inclement weather and other damage hazards during transport. Enclosed carriers provide the greatest level of protection available for vehicles, and it is the recommended transport for exotic, antique/vintage and customized vehicles.What are the key factors used to determine rates?

What does inoperable mean?
Inoperable refers to a vehicle that doesn't run and can't be loaded by a carrier without the use of special equipment that has winching capabilities.Is my vehicle insured while being transported?
YES! Each transporter is governed by the Department of Transportation to maintain minimum insurance requirements. Most of the carriers that we work with exceed those minimum requirements.What is the time frame required to get my vehicle moved?
Each move is different depending on the circumstances, but generally we are able to get vehicles transported within one week to two weeks. The more vehicles involved generally the more quickly the move will go.What methods of payment are accepted?

Can I transport my vehicle with personal belongings in it?
NO. Carriers are regulated by the Department of Transportation and are not allowed to transport household goods.
